Exmouth is 1,270 kms north of Perth and is situated on the eastern side of the North-West cape. Blessed with a wonderful climate, having no wet season, Exmouth is dry and warm all year round. Exmouth boasts that it is one of the sunniest places on Earth. It operates one of only 3 solar observatories in the world.
Exmouth has a diverse and colourful history. Our tours include information on our first inhabitants, the introduction of pastoralists, Exmouths involvement in WW2, fascinating tales of shipwrecks, including "The Wreck of the Barque Stefano", the extablishment of Harold E Holt US Naval Communications Station in 1967 and the blending of the American and Australian cultures right up to the modern tourism and fishing industries.
